> WHITE BISQUITS  WITH CINNAMON POWDER

 

 

> INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

> 5 egg whites

> 450 g of confectioner's sugar

> 500 g finely chopped almonds

> 2 spoons of cinnamon powder

> 1 spoons of Maraschino

> 4-5 spoons of powdered sugar

> PREPARATION

> Whip the egg whites until firm and add to the confectioner's sugar.
 Work it all well from top towards the bottom. 
 Put a cup of the meringue to the side

> which will be used for decoration later on.  
Add the almonds, cinnamon

> powder  and Maraschino to the rest of the compound.

> Cover this and put it in a fridge for an hour.

> Dust a flat surface with the powdered sugar and lay out
the pastry dough about 1cm. (half-inch) high. 
 Cut the biscuits with a bisquit cutter in the

> shapes you like and brush over the meringue frosting.

> Leave the bisquits at room temperature overnight.

> Heat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake them for

> 7-8 minutes.
