MYRTLE LIQUEUR
(Sardinia)


INGREDIENTS

2 cups of fresh myrtle leaves 

a lemon peel

a stick of cinnamon

a liter of alcool (90°)

4 cups of water

2 cups of sugar

PREPARATION


Put the myrtle leaves,
the lemon peel and one stick of cinnamon in the pure alcool
to brew for 40 days. After this time period, take the syrup obtained
and boil it with the water and the sugar. Once mixed, the digestive
takes another month to form well. 
Filter it and bottle it up.
