WALNUT CAKE
(Liguria)


INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

> 1         cups of shelled walnuts

> 2         cups of flour

2 cups of sugar

1 egg

1 cup of cream

½ cup of candied fruit

a handful of bread crumbs

a piece of butter.

 

PREPARATION


Mince the walnuts and mix them with the sugar, then add an egg yolk,
 the whipped cream, candied fruit and finally the flour.
 Grease a cake pan with butter and sprinkle it with bread crumbs. 
Pour the mixture into the cake pan and bake in
a preheated oven at 150°C for 45 minutes.
